Site Survey

Some projects require a site visit from an LDN Steel expert. This provides an opportunity for clients to discuss their unique requirements face to face and for us to gain a comprehensive understanding of the environment, accessibility and logistics. Our business is built on reputation and relationships. We value our time with clients and this is a vital component of our service.

Connection Design

All Connection Design and calculations are provided in accordance with relevant standards and codes. Where necessary, LDN Steel can provide 3D modelled fabrication layouts, based on architect and structural engineer’s drawings.

Fabrication

Our team has more than 30 years combined experience in structural steel fabrication and employs a mix of highly skilled processes. All works are carried out in our dedicated workshop and conform to strict BS EN 1090 standards.

With a well-established supply network and on-site storage capability, we have immediate or rapid access to materials which means we can turn works around quickly and efficiently.

Delivery

Transporting fabricated materials to site can be a complex process, sometimes requiring pre-arranged access permissions and specialist unloading equipment such as cranes. Through close liaison with the client, we confirm all access rights are granted prior to arrival and ensure safe transit of materials via trucks which incorporate 45 foot or 90-foot cranes.

Installation

This part of the process requires specialised skills and qualifications to limit the risks involved with the procedure. Ahead of all site-based activities LDN Steel provides comprehensive Risk and Method Statements. Our installation team are experienced and fully trained to meet the high demands of onsite certification, ensuring installations complete safely, and effectively.
